When offered the opportunity to help others, jump at the chance to do it. Elizabeth Orley of Elizabeth Ink was asked to present that the KNOW on-the-go monthly luncheon. It was a pleasure to be there with a great group of women. The KNOW (Knowledgeable Network of Women) is a personal and professional development program for businesswomen in the Greater Akron Region. An amazing resource for women who are part of the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce. This is an amazing group of women. I have really enjoyed networking with them over the years.
WHAT did we speak about? Google, of course.
We spoke about the power of Google to improve your brand and how important it is to develop strong marketing campaigns. We focused on using hash-tags, keywords, and a strong marketing strategy. You have to use them all to effectively be found in Google’s organic search. As promised, we wanted to make sure the presentation was available to anyone that missed the luncheon. There is a logical way to approach your online branding and social media marketing. The first thing you have to do is understand the ultimate goal of search engine giants like Google are to make money. Once you understand that, you will have to develop a strategy that works within the guidelines of Google. The lesson learned is that you have to do the work, or pay someone that can help you deploy an effective marketing strategy online.
